I just don't understand that. That would leave them with Stepanova and Gruda as post players because they've used their non-European quota on two guards. So that means no Parker or even Langhorne. If Ros Casares is post player heavy than UMMC would be veeeeeeery thin down low.

Sue signs as a new player at Ekat, and Cappie stays(re-sign)..

Than they'll lose. Stepanova, Gruda are both too similar - tall and thin, Wauters - LJ, Yilmaz - Matovic, Fowles - whoever will have their way down low. Now they'll have the same underperforming backcourt with an even weaker frontcourt. Plus someone will sign Candace Parker who'll explode on UMMC if she gets to play against them. Lose-lose.
I'll be genuinely pissed off because Parker, Dumerc > Bird, any European they intend to sign.

Ilona Burgrová after leaving Bourges: "I have already signed the contract with another ELW team, but so far I cannot tell you what team it is. But I really look forward to play in this team."

Any tips? Rumours are that USK Prague wanted to add her, but maybe it is another team

Erika de Souza, Dewanna Bonner, Jelena Dubljevic and Lucila Pascua doesn't look bad to me

I think that finally we will have for inner positions this: Erika, Dupree or Bonner, Vajda, Pascua. I prefer Dubljevic but I think we will have Vajda.

So, it is Anna Vajda for Salamanca, not Jelena Dubljević Fingers crossed for her. Season in Fener and in Prague was not so good for her.

Sue Bird, Anete Jekabsone and Hana Horakova to UMMC
http://basket.ugmk.com/ru/news/index.php?id15=10394
So Dumerc & Zirkova won't comeback, that still leaves 3 non europeans and the team: Sue Bird, Candace Parker and Cappie Pondexter.

There seems to be very little out of Italy right now with the exception of Yacoubou moving.
Maybe its down tothe Italian play-offs only just having finished.
Interested to see what Schio in particular do next season1

If my memory serves me correct last year first noteable signings out of Italy came at the very end of May.

Sooo...
We've got Fenerbahce, Ros Casares, Wisla Can-Pack and UMMC with pretty much set rosters (not counting the UMMC 3 American issue).
Galatasaray has an European spot open, Sparta&K and Nadezhda are American-less, Avenida is player-less. No new signings in central Europe (Hungary and Czech Republic, I'm looking at you) and Italy.

Re: EuroLeague Women Transactions 2011-12
Ketia "speedy Gonzales" Swanier is probably coming back to Gdynia. At least the club wants to bring her back. Monica is not likely to come back This tells probably a lot about our firepower we can afford next season. But on the other hand we have no clue of Euroleague eligibility for 2011/12 so maybe if that will clear things will get more speedy.
