Re: EuroLeague Women Transactions 2011-12
Her opinion expressed there shows that Leuchanka doesn't see any problem with her departure after signing with Wisla, it's just incredible. Even if I do understand her decision, I abolutely don't understand why she doesn't feel guilty or at least why SHE doesn't understand US with our disappointment. It's not only about her, there are further consequences. We could have signed with another top center, if we had known there's such a need; we could have thought about the team in a different way... When she changed her mind, it was too late.

Be realistic - the only top centers that have signed have went to Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Ros Casares and UMMC. There's no way Krakow would have been able to outbid any one of those teams.

You mean european centers, I guess. But Petronyte - far better than Ujhelyi - was available. Just an example, now we can speculate.
And even if you're right, it doesn't change the situation in general. Hernandez admits that he would have built the team in a different way, you think he is not realistic too? He said it would have been an american player.

Re: EuroLeague Women Transactions 2011-12
Last time I counted they already had 5 non-Turkish players under contract which is the max they can have in Turkish league. Having a foreigner just for Euroleague isn't exactly smart - complicates the practice stuff.

But that would be before resigning Powell, and roumors said about Tina Charles beeing an option then. After resigning Powell there was no room for an American.

Except for Marta Fernandez this seems to be the only signing that makes sense to me regarding Avenida.

I think is a great option! Biba is a very good shooter and Marta has other good things but not her shot.

Interesting. Someone on UMMC website's guestbook commented that Leuchanka will somehow replace Deanna Nolan, although that makes very little sense to me.
What I meant to say about Avenida - I'm not a fan of the signings of Vajda, Feaster and even Bonner.

Re: EuroLeague Women Transactions 2011-12
that's officially confirmed, yes true - Sharnee Zoll re-sign(return) with CCC Polkowice for next 2011-2012 season
Sharnee plays on PG, who has 170cm. [USA-American]
In last season at orange team Zoll was the best assist player in Polish League (PLKK-fge)
She avaraged nearly 6 assists per game (5.7) record-10assists.
Also 8.8 points, 3 rebounds and about 2 steals.
For coaches Sarnee was 1st useful player like a playmaker.
on court she spent about 33minutes.
Staying this player was very important for all club staff and organization.
She's real fighter! and always leave heart on court.
Actually she take part in preparation to new WNBA season with Storm.

Ok, JohnyK, I´m idiot! Sorry! I like Vajda and Bonner. I think Bonner have a great future and we sign her for two years, so I think is good.
Vajda, she will be the third player for the inner game, so, in my opinion, is fantastic. And, finally, Feaster, I think she can do important things in Salamanca but I´m not confident about her.

From the same mind that gave us:
Maya Moore signe with Ros CasaresKristen_Bell wrote:Maya Moore ----> Ekaterinburg
Pondexter ---> ¿?¿? Fener
Pondexter stays with UMMC Ekaterinburg
No offical news on these as far as I sawKristen_Bell wrote:Dupree ---> Salamanca
Korstin ---> Praga
Montanana ---> Praga
Yacoubou signed with Ros CasaresKristen_Bell wrote:Yacoubou will follow in Schio 1+1
Kristen_Bell wrote:Dominguez ---> Wisła Kraków ¿?¿?
Holt ---> Lotos Gdynia
Whalen and Viteckova stays with USK PragueKristen_Bell wrote:Prague next year, up budget, Delisha Milton continue one more year in the absence of signature. Whalen did not continue even in the team. Eva Viteckova not continue in Prague, will play in Spain ( Ros Casares )
Sancho Lyttle play in Russia.
As you can see... not the most reliable source to say the least (not a single confirmed signing among all of these except for Delisha Milton Jones)

I do not think that Fenerbahce will sign any1 further. We already have a rooster with 5 foreign players. Angel, Penny, Matovic, Babkina and Tamane. in the Turkish League there is 3 + 1 foreigner allowed.

Natalija Trafimova and Valerija Musina stay in CCC Polkowice, officialy not confirmed.
But they re-signed/return, again.
Also CCC lost Amisha Carter, She leaves Polkowice.
Still dont know what with
veteran Justyna Jeziorna and Daria Mieloszynska(last season in Lotos)..
They together also were players of Poland national team.
