It should be in Ekaterinburg, the 3 other teams hosted it once in the last 4 years.

With Taurasi gone, Jackson injured and now home court advantage on top of everything else, UMMC couldn't really ask for a better opportunity to end Spartak's four-year stranglehold on the EuroLeague.

Oh, they'll find ways to not show up at the big dance and after that they'll destroy anyone who they're playing for the 3rd spot.

Ros Casares have lost Sonia Reis to a torn ACL. She'll undergo surgery tomorrow. She was a nice player to have coming from the bench. Ros Casares have lost an important inside presence, especially considering they have to play against the post duo of Lyttle and Erika in a couple of weeks.

Yeah that hurts, especially considering their EuroLeague post rotation is already shorter than their Spanish League one with Anosike ruled out by the non-EU limit. Do we know how serious Brunson's injury is? Or was it just an 'injury' to save her having to travel to a completely worthless All-Star Game?

From reading hers and Chantelle Anderson's, who's visiting her in Spain, twitter it seems like Brunson is practicing with the team so it shouldn't be anything too serious.

About Brunson, I can´t remember exactly but it wasn´t anything important. She was out 4 days, but she is going to play on Sunday against Perfumerias Avenida.
Well, in a few days we have the preview of Semifinal. I hope Avenida can win.

Now that the NCAA's have concluded let's continue this nice week of womens basketball with ELW Final Four. (PS. don't forget to tune in to NBA TV 9PM CET on Monday to check out the WNBA draft. Some nice kids should be coming over to these parts of the world next autumn)
Video preview of the Final Four: http://www.fibatv.com/page/fibaeuropeVideo/0,,12805~1749578,00.html

Times have also been set for the semi-finals:
Sparta&K - UMMC 3 PM CET
Halcon Avenida - Ros Casares 5:15 PM CET
All the games will be live both on fibatv.com and Eurosport2.
On the injury front: Brunson is healthy, Lyttle and de Souza got a game off during last LFB game, no injuries that I know off for Sparta&K, UMMC has Abrosimova doubtful - she injured her knee in the Russian Premierleague playoff series against St.Petersburg, she's scheduled to return to practice on Thursday, will see how it goes after that.

Also, Silvia Domínguez didn´t play against Rivas, but Sancho, Silvia and Erika are completely recover and they are going to play without any kind of problem against Ros.

UMMC have to start from a scratch. New coach, New Americans, new Europeans, maybe some new Russians. This team model isn't "winning".

What a great team performance. Really deserved and really happy for Salamanca.
Especially the likes of Anke De Mondt and Sylvia Dominguez who work hard and don't always get the headlines behind Torrens, Lyttle, De Souza....
Nice to see them shine on the biggest club stage
