hmm, Eshaya Murphy (or as they say Ešaja Marfi)
I dont know why, but it surprised me to see her on the roster of Montenegro. Anyway, fingers crossed for this team. They fought really hard to play the Euro and I think that they have a chance to beat the Qualifier. Beating Spain or Poland is probably impossible.

It's easier to find mediocre American players who'd like an European passport than you'd think. I personally don't see how she would make that team better considering they're post player heavy and she doesn't have even a mediocre 3p shot. That's like an open invitation to play zone against them.
Regarding their group I think it's realistic to get 2nd position. Poland without Bibrzycka isn't that strong (which they proved in 2009 when Biba got injured in the first game of the tournament). The big unknown right now is who will the additional qualifier will be.

Anna DeForge is Montenegran? That's new. I would assume both she and Murphy are naturalised (seems like an unlikely place for either to have been born or qualify for through any other means) so it'll be one or the other for EuroBasket. Maybe her potential Montenegran commitment is why Murphy hasn't signed any kind of WNBA contract for this season yet (although I doubt she had many offers besides the qualifying offer from Chicago). Not an issue for DeForge these days.

De Forge was set to play in the qualifiers before she got injured in preparation. Murphy seems to have gotten her papers only in the past month or so.
